Best Teacher in Economics Award
conducted among autnonomous colleges in Tamilnadu:

Malcolm & Elizabeth Adiseshiah Trust
instituted an award in recognition of the outstanding
services rendered by the professors of economics among
Autonomous Colleges during the year 2004. Under this
programme the Trust has been giving a cash award of
Rs.30,000/- and a Citation to the Best Teacher in
Economics among the Autonomous colleges within the
State.
For
the year 2015-16 the Trust awarded two prizes i.e., one
for a teacher having more than 15 years experience and
the other for a teacher having less than 15 years. Both
the award carries a cash award of Rs.30,000/- each and
a Citation.
From
the year 2016-17 the Trust decided to award two prizes
i.e., one from the autonomous colleges and the other
from University up to the
rank of Associate Professor. Both the award
carries a cash award of Rs.30,000/- each and a
Citation.
